Gambling Awareness Training

The GamCare Women’s programme has free accredited training on offer suitable for any professional or volunteer who would like a better understanding of harmful gambling and the impact that is can have on gamblers and those around them.

These interactive sessions cover some of the basics around understanding more about gambling generally and what are some of the risk factors that may lead to problematic gambling, as well as how some of the hidden harms associated with problem gambling which may impact women particularly.

We will also look at support and help available to anyone who has been affected.

Attendees are encouraged to participate and ask questions. It is recommended when attending the session you are somewhere that is is possible to have your camera on and be able to interact with the session. This is your session, please make sure you get the absolute most out of it.
