Resources to support the most important people in our network, You! The local wellbeing workforce.

We believe that those who work and volunteer in our area doing great work around wellbeing put in a lot of time and effort, often working beyond the call of duty to empower others. What we don’t always see is enough of those people deciding to ACT on their own self-care and kindness to themselves. We want to change that. We also think that changing work culture, passes down to our own local communities and those we work with in the ethos we all demonstrate.

Members wellbeing then is about you, our paid or unpaid workforce. We offer and have curated several pieces of work for South Tees workforce to ACT on their wellbeing needs, do that inner work and start that personal growth and mental wellbeing improvement journey.

  • Journaling is a great way of expressing your thoughts and feelings without fear of judgment. The evidence is clear for its varying benefits, in many, sometimes life changing ways.

    NEW BOOKING DATES TO BE LAUNCHED SOON

    We have partnered up with a local Teesside company, 'Growth Planner's' Joe Hilton and Nathan Marr to develop our own journal, completely bespoke for members of the Wellbeing Network, free of charge.

    Alongside your free copy, Joe and Nathan will be running two initial and later, third, follow up workshops on getting the best out of your journal and the digital tools for you and in your work. With the journal, comes stacks of prompts to get you planning, reflecting and journaling to better wellbeing, especially when journaling isn’t something that always comes naturally to many of us.

    The 500 journals were created bespoke for the network with feedback from local stakeholders and members in their design.

  • Our lovely colleague Terry Doyle, well known in the Teesside area for his wellness work, especially with those on the fringes of society, has curated a new range of activities for 2024 for Saturdays. He and various practitioners will be running a variety of new tasters, building on last years successes.

    The tasters generally open for booking one month ahead of each date and you can book yourself on through our Events and campaigns page. (network members get priority in cases of overbooking)

    Free to all, they are a brilliant first point of information for everyone, for our workforce as well as those you work with who are ready to start exploring their own ideas of where they can grow and develop - what's more, they're free to borrow!

    From practical self-care tips to deep insights on happiness, resilience, and mindfulness, these books cover a wide range of topics to support your overall wellbeing.

    We partnered with the Middlesbrough and Redcar and Cleveland Library Services across our area to get hold of as many of the Greater Good Science Centre's 'Favourite Books of 2022' so that all of our members can access them.
